The Federal Government has admitted that there is hunger and
poverty in Nigeria by conceding to pay N70,000 transport allowance to federal
workers.
This assertion was made by the Federal Workers Forum (FWF)
through its National Coordinator, Comrade Andrew Emelieze.
‘’For the government to have conceded to pay N70,000 to Federal
workers as transport allowance is a proof of guilt that it is behind the ravaging
hunger and poverty among millions of Nigerians including workers at the federal
state and local governments. This government has impoverished Nigerians to the point
of misbehavior. Workers have suffered enough, there is the need for urgent measures
considering the presidential elections which is very close by Workers in the country
are poorly paid. The government has taken responsibility,’’ the Federal workers
concluded.

The Covert Support for Cultists in Ibadan
The continued heavy presence of cultists in most communities in Ibadan, Oyo state, who harass, intimidate and attack helpless residents has exposed that fact that the state government and the law enforcement agencies have for long covertly supported their activities.
In Olorunsogo, Molete, the criminals have been behind several cases of theft, burglary and vandalization.
Sadly, they are the children of illiterate fathers and mothers, who from time in immemorial have brought up their children and wards to embrace criminality as a way of life and means to an end.
On Saturday, 31st October, 2026 at about 8.30 pm in the night the criminals attacked and vandalized 3, Kehinde Aderibigbe street.
In quick succession, on Monday 2nd November, 2026, the cultists in their large numbers attacked a resident along Otunba Onafuwa Solanke street in the community and in the process dispossessed him of his valuables and cash
