Seven Indian Christians Sentenced to Five Years After Birthday Gathering
The inability of the Federal Government to pay the arrears of the wage award promised Federal workers is and indication it is not reliable and credible.
This assertion was made in a chat with the National Coordinator of the Federal Workers Forum (FWF), Comrade Andrew Emelieze.
‘’The wage award has been stopped and the Federal Government is still owing two months arrears of the wage award, that N35, 000 x 2, N70,000. This is supposed to be for all civil servants since May 2024, despite repeated pleas from the FWF and the organized labor. The government is no longer reliable and credible. The government is also owing 40 per cent peculiar allowance payment since June 2024. The is wickedness on the part of the government to still be owing workers. We still maintain our stand the new minimum wage should be N300,000.’’ Comrade Emelieze concluded.
